Deprecation of TLS (previously SSL) 1.0 and 1.1 version support by the Didomi platform

Didomi will stop supporting TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 on January 22, 2025

Those two versions were deprecated by the IETF since March 2021 and they contain security vulnerabilities.

Didomi will continue supporting TLS 1.2 and 1.3 to establish secure HTTP connections with all users.

How to verify which TLS your website is using and what to do next?

  • Check if the website/endpoint supports TL S1.0 or 1.1 itself.
You can run a report on https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/ and refer to the Protocols section of the results (see screenshots below).
It's important to test your most important websites and endpoints, those where you have the most visitors/users.
  • If the website does not support TLS 1.0 or 1.1, everything should be good as our change would have no impact on users.

  • If the website still supports TLS 1.0 or 1.1 after January 22, 2025, the notice will not be displayed, and you will be unable to collect consent from users.
