Differences between Consent rate and Opt-in rate
Consent rate
The total choices metric is the sum of user choices (opt-in and opt-out). This metric is used to calculate the consent rate.
The consent rate provides the percentage of users who have given a consent (opt-in) over all the users that have replied to the consent notice.
Consent rate = opt-ins / Total Choices
Opt-in rate
The consents asked metric is the sum of no choice, opt-outs, and opt-ins. It is used to calculate the addressability rate.
The opt-in rate provides the percentage of users who have given a consent (opt-in) over all the consents asked.
Opt-in Rate = opt-ins / Consent Asked
